Wisconsin Green Party Affirms Green elected officials leadership in bringing resolutions calling for impeachment

Today the Wisconsin Green Party affirmed Green elected officials’ sponsorship of resolutions calling for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney, which they will bring before the Dane County Board and Madison City Council this week. Green elected officials throughout the state are watching Dane County, and may join the effort in their cities, villages, towns, and counties.

Wineke must go: Greens call for ouster, new ethics rules

Today, the Wisconsin Green Party joined a growing chorus of local Democrats and state newspapers in calling for Joe Wineke to resign from his position as chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. Wineke is a registered lobbyist for the AT&T corporation, and has been lobbying on AT&T’s behalf for a bill that would enable them to gain control of Wisconsin's cable TV services.
